Must greets guests with a polite and friendly attitude and escort them to their respective tables, pulling seats for them and ensuring they are comfortable. Keeps an eye on the dining room and entry way and ensure that cleanliness is maintained in the restaurant. Say hello and goodbye to guests and enquire from them about the quality of services provided at the restaurant. Must be able to run a cash register. Report any complaints or incidents to the on duty supervisor. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ensures that entry doors and surrounding areas are free from debris and presents a welcoming appearance. Check with VIP Services, management and other staff for all call reservations and messages to ensure that all guests are seated promptly. Responsible for maintaining the seating chart to fairly seat guest according to staffing levels. Must be able to operate cash register to total guests' purchases and accurately balance cash drawer on a daily basis.
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent GED. Prior hosting or cash handling work experience will be considered a plus for consideration for this position.
