A casino slot attendants provide a variety of guest services and ensure the smooth operation in the slot area. Slot attendants provides a variety of guest assistance including but not limited to processing slot transactions, making change, paying jackpots and providing information regarding property amenities, special event and promotions.
Responsible for providing service in his/her assigned area, to ensure that machines are kept in good working order, make minor repairs, replace easy pay paper, payout jackpots, and other related duties. Ensures that all forms and documents are processed accurately and according to gaming and company procedures. Must clearly communicate information to the Casino Shift Manager in regards to any relevant issues or suspicious activities.
Strong currency handling skill including ability to process currency transactions accurately is essential. Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time while working. Ability to use hands and fingers to operate simple tools or controls when working on slot machines and other devices. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent GED. Must also be able to obtain and maintain a Mississippi Gaming License.
